Economic Development Group

As a result of the review process carried out in 2005 the Board of Wicklow County Development Board agreed to place more emphasis on the promotion of Economic Development in the county. In keeping with this an Economic Development subgroup of the County Development Board was established. The Economic Development group is chaired by Cllr. George Jones and meets on a quarterly basis. The Economic Development subgroup has responsibility for the implementation of Objectives 1, 2 and 11. Under each of three of three economic objective areas there are a number of specific actions to be implemented.
