RAPID

RAPID (revitalising Areas by Planning, Investment and Development) is a Government initiative focusing on improving the quality of life and opportunities available to residents of the most disadvantaged communities in Irish cities and towns. In Bray, the areas targeted under the first rollout of RAPID are Fassaroe, Oldcourt, Ballywaltrim Heights,Kilbride Grove, Deerpark, Heatherwood, White Oaks, Ard na Greine and Cois Sleibhe.

The RAPID programme intends to achieve its aims in two key ways: by improving integration and delivery of existing services and by targeting new and additional services and facilities into RAPID communities to meet identified need. At a localised level, the RAPID programme is driven by and Area Implementation Team made up of representatives from Stare Agencies, Local Development Organisations and community representatives.
