Road Works and Closures

Wicklow County Council wish to advise motorists that as part of ongoing junction improvement works, the priority is being changed at the junctions of Station Road/Church Hill, Wicklow Town. As of today, traffic on Station Road will have priority. Traffic from Church Hill must stop at the junction meeting Station Road. New traffic signs have been erected and road markings are in place to advise motorists of this change in priority.

Wicklow County Council wish to advise motorists that works will be in place on the N11, Kilmacanogue from 7pm on Tuesday 31st August until 5am on Wednesday 1st September as follows:
• Northbound overtaking lane will be closed from approximately 7pm to 5am
• Southbound overtaking lane will be closed from approximately 8pm to 5am
The works are on behalf of the QBN Office regarding surveying for bus facilities in Kilmacanogue.

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that the following public road will be closed from Wednesday, 18th August, 2010, until Friday, 17th September, 2010.
Road to be closed: The Forge Road, Enniskerry, Co Wicklow.
Alternative Route: Northbound on the R760 (Church Hill) into Enniskerry Village, then westbound on the L1010 (Kilgarron Hill) or Eastbound on the L1010 (Kilgarron Hill) into Enniskerry Village, then southbound on the R760 (Church Hill).
This road closure is necessary in order to facilitate excavation and construction of an Eircom manhole.

Wicklow County Council wish to advise motorist that works will commence on the R750, Wicklow Town, at the Church Hill junction, on Monday 5th July at 8am for approximately 2 months. Traffic restrictions will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Wicklow County Council wish to advise motorists that roadworks will be in place on the L1027 road (near St. Lawrence's School), Greystones from Tuesday 13th July from 8am to 6pm for approximately 6 weeks. A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works.
