Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat 10.00am -1.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. The library is closed on Saturday's of Bank Holiday weekends.

Events in the library

Friday Book Club

The library book club meets at 11.30am on the last Friday of each month. Come and join us for coffee and an informal book chat.

Knitting and Crochet Café

Come along to the library on Wednesday at 11am and join in our knitting and crochet group. Open to beginners and experienced alike. Have a chat and some refreshments. An ideal way to learn new skills. Don’t forget to bring your current project. Junior knitting group every Saturday 11-12, suitable for 7years and up.

Story times

Story time every Saturday at 11am suitable for children aged 3 years and up.

Toddler Time

Every Thursday 11-12, meet other parents and join in the toddler time fun with songs and stories.

Chess Club

Meets every Tuesday 6-7pm, suitable for all ages

Scrabble

If you’d like to form a scrabble group contact the library with your details. It is possible a morning group will be established if we have enough interest.

Services

Access to the Irish Times Archive Database and OSI maps on the library computers - ask at desk for details. Screen assisted reading and screen magnification software available to use in the library, suitable for all including those who are visually impaired - ask at desk for more information.
