Mobile Library

2011 Timetable
Wicklow County Council Library Service took to the road on the 25th May 2004,
serving 32 areas in the county on a fortnightly basis.
Thanks to funding from Wicklow County Council and the Department of the
Environment, Heritage and Local Government, this will give thousands of people
the opportunity to avail of a public library facility, who currently find it
difficult to use their nearest library.
The mobile library carries approximately 2,500 items including:
- books, music CDs and audio books
- wheelchair accessible
- automated library service with Internet access to the public.
It is possible to borrow 5 items for adults, 3 items for children on a
fortnightly basis
When joining, people are asked to bring along one source of ID, showing their
name and address.
