Ballynagran Environmental Community Projects and Works Grant Scheme 2012

Wicklow County Council and the Ballynagran Community Liaison Committee invite applications, under its Development Grants Scheme 2012, towards grants for the development of Environmental Community Projects and Works in the locality of the Ballynagran Landfill.

This scheme is open to Community groups and organisations operating within the locality of the landfill.

Projects which show a combination of a range of guaranteed funding mechanisms such as local sponsorship, lottery funding, Leader funding, Enterprise funding etc., will be particularly encouraged.

Grants of up to 80% of the cost of capital expenditure per project are available.

Examples of projects eligible for funding include:

• Parks
• Amenity Areas
• Walking Routes
• Community Halls and Resource Centres
• Community Art Projects
• Playgrounds
• Recreational Facilities
• Local Heritage Projects
• Environmental Community Projects

Completed application forms should be returned to the Office of Community, Cultural and Social Development not later than 12 noon on Thursday 15th March, 2012.
