Special Speed Limit at Road Works
Greystones Harbour Development Works
Speed Limit Order No.2 of 2011
Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the powers
vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004,
and in the interest of safety, it is necessary to put a
temporary 30 km/h speed limit in place on sections of
Victoria Road, Cliff Road, The Bawn Road, Beach Road
and Trafalgar Road in Greystones, in accordance with
Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004.
Subject to the Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 2 of
2011, 30 kilometres per hour shall be the Road Works
Speed Limit for mechanically propelled vehicles on the
roads as specified in the First Schedule hereto. These
special speed limits to apply from Thursday, 6th
January, 2011, until Thursday, 5th January, 2012, or
such earlier date as may be determined by Wicklow
County Council.
First Schedule
Cliff Road from its junction with the Trafalgar Road to
a point 60 metres north of its junction with Sidmonton
Place.
Victoria Road from its junction with Cliff Road to a
point 16 metres east of its junction with Church Road.
Trafalgar Road from its junction with Cliff Road to a
point 42 metres north of its junction with Sidmonton
Place.
The Beach road for its entire length.
The Bawn Road from its junction with Victoria Road to
a point 65 metres north of its junction with Victoria
Road.
