Ordnance Survey Ireland have developed a number of new on-line services which
enables members of the public and professional users to obtain with ease a map
for the submission of a planning application. Details of these maps can be found
on the
Ordnance Survey Ireland website.
Calculation of time limits in the planning application process over the Christmas Period
Please note that in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), the period between the 24th day of December and the first day of January, both days inclusive should be disregarded
Accordingly, all time limits specified in connection with the planning application process, including time limits relating to maintenance of site notices and receipt of submissions or observations are extended by 9 days

Safety Notice in reference to Site Visits
Please be advised that the assessment of this application will include inspection of the site by officers of the Local Authority and may also include inspection by officers of other statutory bodies.
It is your responsibility to ensure that access is made available to any inspection officer, and the property is safe for inspection. In this regard, you are required to ensure that there are no hazards on the property, such as
- Unsafe ground, excavations, trenches or holes (Any trial holes must be made suitably safe for inspection)
- Loose dogs or other dangerous animals
- Items of a noxious or dangerous nature such as chemicals and machinery.
