Biodiversity Week 2021 in County Wicklow

Wicklow Rivers talk 18th May & Summer Wildflowers Workshop - lunchtime 20th May

National Biodiversity Week takes place 15th - 23rd May 2021 and offers a wonderful  opportunity to celebrate and explore  the rich variety of life in Ireland 

In Wicklow, the Heritage& Biodiversity Office has teamed up once more with Wicklow Libraries to host one evening talk and one lunchtime workshop details as follows;

Tuesday 18th May 7 pm Wicklow Rivers Ecology & Connectivity; Join us to find out more about Wicklow's rivers and some of the initiatives underway to improve the connectivity of these by remediating instream barriers to fish migration.

Thursday 20th May 1-2 pm Summer Wildflower Workshop: A lunchtime workshop from Oisin Duffy to assist in the identification and recording of our seasonal wildflowers
