Killruddery House, in collaboration with the Historic Houses of Ireland, is delighted to offer a weekend of events for this year’s Crinniú na nÓg celebrations, with ‘I See You’ - a weekend of art, culture and heritage for children of various backgrounds.

Over the weekend, children can look forward to being a part of a visual celebration of young people in old spaces, and develop new skills with a two-day workshop of technical and creative play, with Aduantas Aerial, Me & The Moon and three individual circus performers and tutors – Ben Carpenter, Bróna Howard and Stephen McGinley.

Attendees can look forward to three 45 minute workshops per day with Artist in Residence at Killruddery, Aduantas Aerial, where they will learn skills in rope, silks, trapeze and dance trapeze and hammock.

Aerial and circus skills can also be enjoyed with three fantastic independent circus performers and tutors, Ben, Bróna and Stephen where children will be immersed in fun skills like juggling, hoola hoops, object manipulation and more with three 1 hour workshops per day, which will begin and end with a short show from their circus tutors.

With Me & The Moon, children can look forward to letting their creative juices flow for the weekend with technical and creative drawings inspired by the aerial performances and circus activities against the backdrop of Killruddery's 17th Century Gardens, all while being immersed in the outdoors. These pieces will then be collaged together to form a giant wall of drawing that will be exhibited in The Orangery of Killruddery House.

'I See You' at Killruddery is a ticketed event and all materials for this exciting weekend of events will be provided.
