Notice of Emergency Road Closure
We have identified a fault with one of the WIM sensors located on the M11 Northbound at Ch. 44.0, will are planning to carry out emergency works to replace the sensor.
The works are planned for Thursday & Friday night 10th & 11th April.
To facilitate the works, we will be closing the Northbound carriageway both nights at 6pm from Junction 19 to Junction 18.

Road closure period will be for a maximum duration of 10 weeks with the above road closure window period.

Alternative Routes:
Southbound vehicles travelling on the R412 (Brannockstown to Dunlavin road) must turn left on to the R413 at Brannockstown and continue along the R413 (circa 5.5km) and then divert right onto the R411 at Ballymore Eustace and continue along the R411 (circa 3km), then divert right onto the N81 and continue along the N81 (circa 1.4km) and divert right onto the R756 at Hollywood Cross and continue along the R756 (circa 7.3km) as far as its junction with the R412 in Dunlavin Village.
Northbound Vehicles will travel vice versa.

Traffic Diversions will be in place via the R761 and R762 from the Delgany Wood Avenue (L-1025-0) in the south and from the Blacklion Manor Road (L-1026-0) in the north.
One-Way System via St. Laurences NS and Eastmount:
A one-way system will operate southbound along Chapel Road from its junction with Dromont, passing St. Laurence’s National School and returning northbound through Eastmount to re-join two-way road again at the junction of Chapel Road and Dromont.
Local Access will be maintained.
