Wicklow County Council Awarded Accredited Employer Standard From Engineers Ireland
Wicklow County Council has received the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accredited Employer Standard from Engineers Ireland.
This accreditation demonstrates Wicklow County Council's commitment to maintaining high professional standards and supporting the development of its engineering and technical staff.
The goal of obtaining CPD accreditation from Engineers Ireland is to position Wicklow County Council as a leading provider of engineering services to the people of Wicklow. This will be accomplished by fostering a culture of continuous learning and staff development.
Wicklow County Council becomes the 9th out of a total of 31 Local Authorities within the country to achieve this prestigious accolade.
Cllr. Melanie Corrigan, Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, stated, “This accreditation will significantly benefit the Council in delivering services to the citizens of the county by promoting CPD among our engineering and technical staff, thereby broadening their expertise and knowledge.”
Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council Emer O’Gorman, added, “We are delighted to receive the Continuing Professional Development Employer Accreditation Standard from Engineers Ireland.This recognition demonstrates that Wicklow County Council is committed to the ongoing personal and professional development of our staff. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our Continuing Professional Development Committee and various collaborators throughout the organisation over the past 12 months.”
