The SRTS Programme, developed by the National Transport Authority (NTA) and Green-Schools, An Taisce, is creating safer spaces for students to walk, cycle, and scoot to school – building healthy, sustainable transport habits while reducing congestion at school gates.
With continued investment confirmed in Budget 2026 to progress those schools at various stages of the program cycle and Round 4 schools recently announced, we're committed to delivering safe active travel infrastructure across Wicklow County.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants who have contributed their efforts to the programme.
