Throughout 2024 Kunstverein Aughrim will collaborate with up to ten Wicklow-based creative practitioners, from photographers and designers to composers, writers and filmmakers, to develop new collaborations that result in the creative documentation of Kunstverein Aughrim’s artistic programme. In the course of the year Kunstverein Aughrim will accompany the practices of three contemporary visual artists; Sarah Browne, Bassam Issa Al-Sabah, and Marielle MacLeman, in a curatorial capacity across multiple projects. From workshops, studio sessions and screenings, to talks, readings and exhibitions, elements of the artistic programme will be documented creatively, in ways that bring the processes of production to life, and share the artistic practice of making new work with audiences within and beyond the county of Wicklow.

Funded by Wicklow County Arts Office Strategic Project Awards 2024 supported by the Arts Council.
