Arklow MD

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice of the temporary closure of the following public roads.

Road to be closed

Section of the L-2172  Templerainey

Period of closure

Monday 8th September, 2025

From 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Alternative Routes

Follow the R772 to Barndarrig , then follow the  R754  to Redcross  - turn onto the L-2172 to Templerainey

and vice versa.

Diversion signage will be in place

Reason for Closure

This closure is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting for a solar farm

 

 

Baltinglass MD

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice of the temporary closure of the following public roads

Road to be closed

L77479 (Deerpark Road) at its eastern junction with the R747 (Kiltegan Road). Baltinglass

Period of closure

Monday 8th September to Thursday  11th September, 2025

Alternative Routes

West and then South along the L77479 (Deerpark Road) to the southern junction with the R747 (Kiltegan Road) and vice versa.

Local access will be maintained

Reason for Closure

This closure is necessary in order to facilitate a water connection

 

M11/N11

 

Wicklow County Council wishes to advise the public that additional works for the remaining section of lane 1 and lane 2 on the M11 Southbound at Parkbaun Underbridge will take place on Thursday night, 11th of September 2025. 

Southbound carriageway at Junction 21 (Arklow South) will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Thursday 11th September   to 6:00 a.m.  Friday 12th September, 2025.

Diversion via the R772 (Inch)   for traffic to rejoin the M11 at Junction 22 (Gorey North)

Wicklow County Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
