Traffic management will be in place, off-peak, for the duration of the works.

Arklow MD
Road Works
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise the public that planned Pedestrian Crossing Installation and Footpath Replacement Works are to take place at the Fairgreen, Rathdrum from this coming Wednesday 26/11/2025 during normal working hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday for a period of approximately 3 weeks.
Localised Pedestrian and Traffic Management Restrictions will be in place for this period.
Wicklow County Council apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.

Road Works
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise the public that emergency roadworks will be carried out by Gas Networks Ireland on the R761 from the junction with Blacklion Manor Road and Redford Park, to the entrance to Redford Cemetery.
Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works as follows:
Tuesday/Wednesday 9th/10th December (09:00 to 18:00)
Thursday 11th December (09:00 to approx. 23:59)
The traffic lights at the junction of R761/Blacklion Manor Road/Redford Park will be switched off with junction and crossings controlled by a stop/go system.
Friday 12th December (09:00 to 16:30) a stop/go system will be in place between the entrance to Redford Cemetery and the junction with Blacklion Manor Road and Redford Park.

Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that the undermentioned Road Closure will come into effect from Monday, 3rd November 2025 until Tuesday, 31st March 2026.

South Bound - Starts at the junction of Beechwood Park (L5220)/(L1027). South diversion is approx. 730m to roundabout at Delgany Wood. Drive 640m down Delgany Wood Avenue, turn left and continue 300m on Church Road until your reach the R761 North mini roundabout at Killincarrig. Turn left at the first exit and carry on 2.25km until you reach the Blacklion Manor Road. North Bound - The North diversion is 1km to the Blacklion Manor Road then follow the South diversion route vice versa. |

This closure is necessary to facilitate the Chapel Road Pedestrain and Cyclist Infrastructure Improvement Scheme. |
