Whatever your skills or interests, your local Tidy Towns Committee will have a project that you can join to assist in the development of your community. Contact members of your local committee or watch the local press to find out what is happening in your community. If you want to contact your local group but do not have contact details, contact the Environmental Awareness Office to find out contact details for your local group.

Wicklow Municipal District Funding

The elected members of Wicklow Town Council approved €11,000 worth of funds to Tidy Towns Groups within Wicklow Municipal District from the Discretionary Fund in 2019. This amount is split as follows:

  • Wicklow Tidy Towns: €5,000
  • Roundwood Tidy Towns: €1,000
  • Ashford Tidy Towns: €1,000
  • Newtownmountkennedy Tidy Towns: €1,000
  • Laragh Tidy Towns: €1,000
  • Glenealy Tidy Towns: €1,000
  • Rathnew Village Renewal: €1,000
