SOCIAL HOUSING ASSESSMENT 2021

IMPORTANT NOTICE IF YOU ARE AN APPLICANT ON WICKLOW COUNTY COUNCIL’S LIST FOR SOCIAL HOUSING SUPPORT

Wicklow County Council intends to carry out a Social Housing Assessment in accordance with Section 21 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2009.  The Social Housing Assessment is a review of all approved applicants for social housing supports who are currently on the Social Housing List with Wicklow County Council. 


The Council is now writing to Applicants on the Social Housing List who were approved for Social Housing on or after 30th July 2020 using the current address provided by the Applicant. If you have moved address please contact the Housing Section in writing by post or email to update your address details as soon as possible.


Each approved Applicant will be asked to complete a form and provide documentarysupporting evidence and to return this information to the Local Authority. If you have any difficulty with completing this form you can contact the Housing Section for assistance.


If you fail to return this information within the specified time period your application for Social Housing will be terminated and you will be removed from the Council’s list for Social Housing Support.

All approved Social Housing Applicants should return their forms by Friday, 22nd October to:
