Join us for the Bealtaine Tea Dance, an afternoon of dancing and music taking place on Wednesday 13th May from 3pm in Germaine's of Baltinglass. For those aged 55+, this is a free event with no booking required. The tea dance is part of Creative Places Baltinglass, a community-led five-year project that celebrates Baltinglass people and place. The event is managed by Wicklow County Arts Office, and is funded by the Arts Council, as part of the national Creative Places Programme.
Bealtaine is Ireland’s national festival which celebrates the arts and creativity as we age. The festival is run by Age & Opportunity, the leading national development organisation working to enable the best possible quality of life for us all.
Commenting on the event, Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council Cllr. Melanie Corrigan said, “I am delighted to see Wicklow County Council supporting events like the Bealtaine Tea Dance in Baltinglass, bringing people together to celebrate creativity, community and connection.
