PROVISION FOR TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC ROAD
L-95113-0 Milltown Lane and Section of the L-5113-0 Ballynabarney
Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes the temporary closure of the following public roads.

Roads to be closed
|
From the junction of the R772 to the junction of the R752.
- Section of the L-5113-0 Ballynabarney
|
|
Period of closure
|
Monday 03rd August 2026 – Monday 30th November 2026.
|
|
Alternative Routes
|
The R772 onto the R752 and Vice versa.
- Section of the L-5113-0 Ballynabarney
L1113 -0 (Coolbeg) to L-1111-0 (Kilcandra) to L-5047 (Ballymanus Lower) to L-54112 (Black Hill Road) and vice versa.
Local access will be maintained, and Diversion signs will be in place.

Reason for Closure
|
This closure is to facilitate ducting works to for the installation of a new 10Vsubstation, for the Ballinaclogh Solar Farm.
|
Any person wishing to object to the proposed road closure must lodge their objection in writing to Transportation and Infrastructure Delivery, Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Wicklow Town, Co Wicklow or via email at roadtrans@wicklowcoco.ie not later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 15th July 2026.

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes the temporary closure of the following public roads.

Between the Tiglin Centre and Coillte Carpark entrance at
Devils Glen Wood.

|
Sunday 9th August 2026
From 10:00 to 19:00
Provisional back up dates
Sunday 16th August and Sunday 23rd August.

Alternative Routes

LOCAL DIVERSION ROUTE
From west side of road closure
Off the R763, turn onto L-5072, and then turn right on to the R764, travel to the crossroads and turn right onto L-5063 at Newtownboswell and follow the road back to the R763.
From East side of the road closure
Off the R763 turn onto the L-5063 and travel to the crossroads at Newtownboswell and turn left onto R764, turn left on to L-5072, and follow the road back to R763.
DIVERSION ROUTE 2
From West side of the road closure (Annamoe)
Travel North on the R755 towards Roundwood. After 4.1KM turn right onto R764. Continue on the R764 for 11.5KM following signs for Ashford. Arrive at east side of the road closure (Ashford).
From East side of the road closure (Ashford)
Travel North off roundabout on the R764. Stay on R764 for 11.5KM. Following signs for Roundwood. At Roundwood turn left onto R755, stay on R755 for
4.1KM. follow signs for Annamoe, arrive at west side of road closure (Annamoe)
No access to Forest carpark on day of filming.

This road closure is necessary to facilitate filming.
