Why are parts of the park closing again, even though they were accessible during Taste of Wicklow?
The park works had progressed sufficiently to safely accommodate the Taste of Wicklow event.  However, a number of important construction and landscaping works still need to be completed before the park can open permanently in its entirety.  These final works will ensure the park is fully completed, safe and ready for everyone to enjoy.  We appreciate the public's patience and understanding during this short final phase of the project and look forward to welcoming everyone to the completed Abbey Park.
