All products originated in the McGann family kitchen, developed by Fiona McGann with the support of her husband, Brian.  In 2023 their daughter Aisling, an accountant and former Head of Finance at Hello Fresh, joined the company.

Their products, which include cold-pressed juices, plant milks, kombucha and overnight oats are now produced at scale and are widely available across retail and foodservice outlets across Ireland. The name SiSú comes from a Finnish word, meaning resilience and bravery, and this family business embodies both of those things.  In February 2026 the SiSú team announced world champion boxer, Katie Taylor, as their first Brand Ambassador, and launched Fizzique, a new nutritional carbonated drink.  This is a business that is growing and creating jobs, having availed of a wide range of supports from LEO Wicklow.

The benefits of sustainable growth and job creation from exciting new companies like SiSú are widespread and offer inspiration to others hoping to do the same.”

Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, Emer O’Gorman, commented, “I would like to thank Brian, Fiona, Aisling and all the team at SiSú Juice Company Ltd for representing Co. Wicklow so well at the NEAs in 2026. They put in a huge amount of work during the application and judging process. This work ethic is evident in the commercial success they have had to date. We wish them good luck into the future.”

Head of Enterprise at LEO Wicklow, Vibeke Delahunt congratulated SiSú, saying, “All of the team at LEO Wicklow send massive congratulations to the staff of SiSú on their win at the National Enterprise Awards. Their hard work and innovation has seen them grow in recent years and they embody the entrepreneurial spirit of Co. Wicklow so well.  I am so proud of their achievements. They are delivering on consumer demand for minimally processed wholefoods, a trend which is growing rapidly”.
