Notification of road works - R747 The Meetings of the Waters
Wicklow County Council wish to advise that road works will be in place on the R747 at The meeting of the Waters on Monday 18th May 2026
from 7:00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Localised traffic management will be in place.
Wicklow County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Road Closure- South Quay Arklow
Wicklow County Council wish to advise that road re-instatement works will take place on Tuesday 19th May 2026 commencing at 7:00 p.m. (works should take approximately 4 hours) on a section of
South Quay Arklow (L-6907)
The road will be closed from the Junction at Bridge Street to the Junction at South Green.
Diversions and Traffic Management will be in place
Works being carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann

Baltinglass MD
Wicklow County Council herby gives notice of temporary road closures between
Monday 18th May and Wednesday 20th May 2026 at the following locations, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
L-4372 Woodend to Kilbride
R 759 The Dowery
These closures are necessary to facilitate Surfacing Dressing works.
The individual closures will last 3 to 6 hours, subject to weather conditions.
Temporary traffic management, closures, convoy systems, and local access will be in place.

Extension of Road Closure
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that the undermentioned Road Closure will come into effect from Monday, 3rd November 2025 until Friday 31st July 2026

| Alternative Routes |
South Bound - Starts at the junction of Beechwood Park (L5220)/(L1027). South diversion is approx. 730m to roundabout at Delgany Wood. Drive 640m down Delgany Wood Avenue, turn left and continue 300m on Church Road until your reach the R761 North mini roundabout at Killincarrig. Turn left at the first exit and carry on 2.25km until you reach the Blacklion Manor Road. North Bound - The North diversion is 1km to the Blacklion Manor Road then follow the South diversion route vice versa. |
