A  transboundary EIA notification was received from the Planning Inspectorate UK in July 2020, regarding the proposed development consent application by NNB Generation Company (SZC) for the proposed Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station, in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom.  Subsequently, a nationwide transboundary public consultation was held on this proposed development.  

On 20 of July 2022, in accordance with Article 6(2) of the Espoo Convention, the Planning Inspectorate UK, notified the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage of the decision taken by the Secretary of State, to grant a Development Consent Order for the Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station, in Suffolk.
