Wicklow County Council have commenced work on the Woodlands to Glenart Drive Pedestrian Ramp.
The project will include construction of a new access ramp with handrails linking the Woodlands housing development with Glenart Drive. New public lighting will be installed in the area as well as resurfacing of the public right of way between the new ramp and the end of the existing roadway.
The completed project will provide improved accessibility for pedestrians accessing the town centre, particularly those with mobility issues, or those using buggies or bicycles.
It will take approximately 4 weeks to complete. During that time pedestrian activity may be restricted for safety reasons.
We regret any inconvenience caused and thank you for your co-operation.
