Phase 1: M11 Southbound Junction 13 to M11 Junction 16
Exit the M11 southbound at Junction 13, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit for L5050 Killadreenan. Continue to follow L5050 for 1.8km. At the junction, turn right on to R761 southbound. Continue to follow R761 for 9km. At the roundabout, turn tight to stay on R761, then turn right onto R772. Continue to follow R772 for 600 meters, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit to rejoin the M11 southbound at Junction 16.
Phase 2: M11 Southbound Junction 16 to M11 Junction 18
Exit the M11 southbound at Junction 16, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto R772. Continue to follow R772 for 900 meters. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on the R772. Continue to follow R772 for 1.6km. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on R772. Continue to follow R772 for 300 meters. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to rejoin the M11 southbound at Junction 18.
Road closures will be in place Monday to Friday nights, inclusive. Intermediate junctions will be closed as required to facilitate the works.
Local access will be maintained where necessary.

4th to 8th September 2026
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise motorists that Road Surfacing works will take place on the L7712, Millands Road, Coolafancy, Carnew from Friday 4th September to Tuesday 8th September 2026 from 8:00am to 7:00 pm.
Works will take 3 days to complete depending on weather conditions.
The Road will be closed and Traffic Management will be in place throughout the duration of the works.
Local Access will be provided.
Please drive with caution.

Starts at the Junction of Beechbrook Park (L5220) / (L1027). South diversion is approx. 730m to roundabout at Delgany Wood. Drive 640m down Delgany Wood Avenue, turn left and continue 300m on Church Road until you reach the R761 north mini roundabout at Killincarrig. Turn left at the first exit and carry on 2.25km until you reach the Blacklion Manor Road.
North bound
The North diversion is 1km to the Blacklion Manor Road then follow the south diversion route vice versa.

This road closure is necessary to facilitate Installation of a new watermain by Uisce Éireann.

Uisce Éireann is upgrading wastewater infrastructure at Bollarney, Wicklow Town to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involve the installation of 800 metres of rising main to cater for the future growth and development of the wider Wicklow Town area.
These works are being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme and are expected to commence on 15th June 2026.
The section of works will take place along the R750 from Bollarney Woods as far as Abbey Street, Wicklow Town.
Standard working hours are 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Traffic management will be in place to facilitate works. Flagmen will be on site during working hours, and temporary traffic lights will be in operation outside these hours.
This project is being delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing wastewater network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by Coffey Ltd. and are expected to be completed by end of Summer.
