Learn about GIS at Arklow library.

Modern mapping, based on GIS, has made revolutionary changes in the way we understand the the shape of our world.

Whether you are doing historical research, looking into your family origins, or needing practical information on planning and environmental issues, GIS is the tool for you.

Arklow Library will host a talk and workshop on some of the many uses of GIS, given by Wicklow County Council's own GIS officer, Paddy O'Flaherty.

 

The event is free, and no booking is required.
