Microfilm viewers and microfilm reels of local newspapers are also available in Arklow, Bray, Greystones, Blessington and Baltinglass Branches. Please contact each branch respectively to book a machine and request desired titles and dates.

Hard copy editions of the previous three years of the Wicklow People and Bray People are also available for consultation in the local studies room in Ballywaltrim Library.

Wicklow Library Service subscribes to the British Newspaper Archive online service. This is a searchable database of National and local newspapers available through our Findmypast subscription which is available remotely to all Wicklow County Council library members during current Covid restrictions. Please contact your local library branch for access details.

The Irish Times Digital Archive features exact reproductions of all articles published by the Irish Times from 1859 onwards. This resource can be accessed on computers in all library branches.
