Filming to take place on the Sean Kelly Bridge.

Alternative Routes

From the east side of the Temporary Road closure
- Continue to follow the R759 Towards Manor Kilbride to the Junction with the N81
- Turn right onto the N81 at The Lamb. Continue North to Brittas
- Turn right onto the R114- Continue to Ballinascorny to the Bohernabreena Road/Killinniny Road Junction.
- Turn right onto Killinniny Road (R113)- Take the next right onto Oldcourt Road
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Oldcourt Avenue.
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto on to Allenton Road towards Oldcourt Road (R113) continue past LIDL and take the next right to stay on Oldcourt Road (R113).
- Continue to the Gunny Hill (R113) towards the T-Junction with the R115. Turn right and travel south on the R115 on Old Military Road to the Sally gap.

N81 Hollywood Cross Rural Traffic Calming Road Safety Improvement Scheme – Commencement of Roadworks
Glas Civil Engineering limited have been appointed by Wicklow County Council as works Contractor for the Construction Implementation and handover phases of the ‘N81 Hollywood Cross Rural Traffic Calming Road Safety Improvement Scheme’. The planned construction start date is Monday 21st of July and It is expected that these essential road safety works will be complete in Q1 of 2026.
Works include:
✓ Site clearance and enabling works
✓ Full depth road and footpath construction
✓ Road regulating and resurfacing works
✓ Installation of Bus Stops and associated infrastructure
✓ Construction of new drainage network,
✓ New kerb lines, tie ins and footpaths,
✓ Installation of 3 pedestrian crossings,
✓ Landscaping works,
✓ Installation of new line marking and road markings along the route
✓ Utility diversions
✓ Public Lighting
✓ All other ancillary work
During completion of the works, it will be necessary to make amendments to the existing road layout by the installation of temporary traffic management measures. Glas Civil Engineering limited will endeavour to minimise the disruption caused by these works, and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.

This closure is necessary to facilitate works by Gas Networks Ireland on the gas network.

South Bound - Starts at the junction of Beechwood Park (L5220)/(L1027). South diversion is approx. 730m to roundabout at Delgany Wood. Drive 640m down Delgany Wood Avenue, turn left and continue 300m on Church Road until your reach the R761 North mini roundabout at Killincarrig. Turn left at the first exit and carry on 2.25km until you reach the Blacklion Manor Road. North Bound - The North diversion is 1km to the Blacklion Manor Road then follow the South diversion route vice versa. |
