BALTINGLASS MUNICIPAL DISTRICT 

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice  of temporary road closures   between Thursday 26th and Friday 27th June, 2025 at the following locations.  From 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

These closures are necessary to facilitate Surfacing Dressing works.

The individual closures will last 3 to 6 hours, subject to weather conditions.

Temporary traffic management, closures and convoy system, will be in place

ARKLOW MUNICIPAL DISTRICT 

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice of the temporary closure of the following public roads

 

Road to be closed

R753 - Aughrim

Period of closure

Friday 27th June, 2025

From 06:30 p.m. to 09:30 p.m.

Alternative Routes

The Glen Road onto Chapel Lane

Lower Street – Local Access only

 

Reason for Closure

This closure is necessary to facilitate the “Craic in the Granite” Music and Arts Festival.

 

 

 

 

 

Wicklow Municipal District

Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice of the temporary closure of the following public roads

Road to be closed

Main Street (Upper Mall) R750, Wicklow Town

Period of closure

From 07:00 p.m. Tuesday 24th June to

1:00 a.m. Wednesday 25th June 2025

Alternative Routes

Main Street traffic diverted left onto The Lower Mall, follow through to Salthouse Lane, turn right onto South Quay, turn right onto Quarantine Hill, follow through Quarantine Hill, turn right onto Castle Street turn right onto Market Square R750.

Reason for closure

This closure is necessary to facilitate Reinstatement works by Gas Networks Ireland
