Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 Special Speed Limit at Road Works Kilmacanogue
The following roads will revert to 100kph with effect from Saturday 2nd October 2021
- a. The M11/N11 southbound carriageway from a point 168 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Bray South Over Bridge at Junction 7 to a point 22 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Kilmacanogue Over Bridge at Junction 8.
- b. The M11/N11 southbound off-ramp at Junction 7 (Bray South) from its junction with the M11/N11 southbound carriageway to a point 112 metres south west of the centre point of the Killarney Roundabout (R768).
- c. The M11/N11 southbound Parallel Service Road (Kilmacanogue) from a point 52 metres south west of the centre point of the Killarney Roundabout (R768) to a point 808 metres north of the centre point of the M11/N11 Kilmacanogue Over Bridge at Junction 8.
The N11 through Kilmacanogue will revert to speed limits adopted under the County Wicklow Road Traffic Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws of 2017 adopted on the 2nd October 2017 and the new slip road will be 50 kph.
Road Works Speed Limit Order No.2 of 2020
Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the powers vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, and in the interest of safety, it is necessary to make a Road Works Speed Limit Order, in respect of the area where the works are to be carried out.
Subject to the Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 2 of 2020, 60 km/h per hour shall be the Road Works Speed Limit for mechanically propelled vehicles on the roads as specified in the First Schedule hereto, this Special Speed Limit to continue to apply until the 30th July 2021, or such earlier date as may be determined by Wicklow County Council. Road works on the M11/N11 between junction 7 and 8 (Bray South to Kilmacanogue)
Notice is hereby given that in exercise of the powers vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, and in the interest of safety, it is necessary to make a Road Works Speed Limit Order, in respect of the area where the works are to be carried out.
Subject to the Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 1 of 2020, 60 km/h per hour shall be the Road Works Speed Limit for mechanically propelled vehicles on the roads as specified in the First Schedule hereto, this Special Speed Limit to apply from Monday 17th February 2020 until the 1st February 2021, or such earlier date as may be determined by Wicklow County Council.

The M11/N11 northbound carriageway from a point 47 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Kilmacanogue Over Bridge at Junction 8 to a point 67 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Bray South Over Bridge at Junction 7.
The M11/N11 southbound carriageway from a point 168 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Bray South Over Bridge at Junction 7 to a point 22 metres south of the centre point of the M11/N11 Kilmacanogue Over Bridge at Junction 8.
The M11/N11 northbound off-ramp at Junction 8 (Kilmacanogue) from its junction with the M11/N11 northbound carriageway to a point 17 metre south of the centre point of the roundabout at Kilmacanogue Village (R755).
The M11/N11 northbound on-ramp at Junction 8 (Kilmacanogue) from a point 62 metres north of the centre point of the Kilmacanogue Village Roundabout (R755) to its junction with the M11/N11 northbound carriageway.
The M11/N11 northbound off-ramp at Junction 8 (Glencormick) from its junction with the M11/N11 northbound carriageway to a point 123 metres south of its junction with the Glencormick Road (L1019).
The M11/N11 northbound on-ramp at Junction 8 (Glencormick) from a point 35 metres north its junction with the Glencormick Road (L1019) to its junction with the M11/N11 northbound carriageway.
The M11/N11 northbound off-ramp at Junction 7 (Bray South) from its junction with the M11/N11 northbound carriageway to a point 77 metres south of the centre point of Kilcroney Roundabout (R768).
The M11/N11 southbound off-ramp at Junction 7 (Bray South) from its junction with the M11/N11 southbound carriageway to a point 112 metres south west of the centre point of the Killarney Roundabout (R768).
The M11/N11 southbound on-ramp at Junction 7 (Bray South) from a point 52 metres south west of the centre point of the Killarney Roundabout (R768) to its junction with the M11/N11 southbound carriageway.
The M11/N11 southbound off-ramp at Junction 8 (Kilmacanogue) from its junction with the M11/N11 southbound carriageway to a point 58 metres north of the centre point of the Bohilla Roundabout (R755).
