Wicklow Artists Salon #10: An image, a tune, a poem

16th November 2024, Russborough House

Guest Artists:

  • Theresa Nanigian, facilitator
  • Helen Blake, visual artist
  • Jessica Traynor, poet
  • Colm Mac Con Iomaire, musician

We are thrilled to welcome to this salon three outstanding contemporary artists from varied disciplines who will share recent work and tell us how and why they created it. As usual, there will be plenty of time for all attendees to contribute…And for this special Saturday afternoon salon in the beautiful surroundings of Russborough House, there will be a complimentary lunch and a subsidised artists bus to and from Mermaid, Bray.

Curated by visual artist Jonna Kidney and writer Philip St John, The Wicklow Artists Salon is an artist-run event exploring important themes affecting artists and cultural practitioners in the county and beyond. Each salon hosts a moderated conversation with invited guest artists that then opens out to a discussion with attendees in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

Wicklow Artist Salon is funded by Wicklow Arts Office and the Arts Council of Ireland, and supported by Mermaid Arts Centre, The Courthouse Arts Centre, Killruddery House, and Russborough House.
