Greystones to Bray Cliff Walk
The Cliff Walk was closed by the Gardaí to prevent access by the public to Bray Head whilst the recent fire was raging.
Now that the fire is under control the reason for closing the Cliff Walk has passed and so the public can access the walk once more.
However, walkers should proceed with caution. Notwithstanding the fact that the walk is a coastal pathway and caution should be exercised along such rural walks at all times, the fire may have caused vegetation, rocks, boulders and possibly even the cliff face to become unstable and so extra vigilance should be shown whilst walking the route.
This walk is one of the highlights of walking in Wicklow. This linear walk takes you from Greystones to Bray along the stunning coastal path. The path is well maintained and you can return by light rail (DART) to the start point. Greystones and Bray have plenty to offer the hungry walker after beautiful views and a range of marine wildlife. From the Cliff Walk there is a path leading to the top of Bray Head offering stunning views of the Irish Sea, The Wicklow Mountains and Bray.
