Wicklow County Council Arts Office is pleased to announce that Round 2 of the Creative Places Baltinglass Creative Community Activation Fund is open for applications from Friday March 6th. A total of €20,000 is available for projects taking place in 2026–2027, with grants ranging from €2,000 to €5,000. The Fund supports collaborative, socially engaged, place-based creative projects — including residencies, event series, and public realm initiatives — that strengthen connections between artists and community. All projects must take place within the Creative Places Baltinglass area and include paid creative personnel. Projects awarded in this round must take place between July 2026 and June 2027.
Training sessions on how to apply for this fund will be held at Baltinglass Library on 25th March at 3pm and repeated again at 6pm. Both community applicants and artists are welcome to attend. To book a space, please email creativeplacesbaltinglass@gmail.com

Applicants must apply through the Arts Office's online platform Submittable where you will be able to upload all supporting materials along with your online application form. The Submittable platform works best on the most recent version of Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Wicklow County Council Arts Office strongly recommends that you test this online platform well in advance of the closing date for the Fund, so that technical support can be provided, if required.
