Creative Places Baltinglass is a community-led three-year project that celebrates Baltinglass people and place.
Following a successful application led by Wicklow County Council’s Arts Office in partnership with local community development organisations across West Wicklow, the people of Baltinglass were selected by the Arts Council to participate in the Creative Places.
Creative Places provides an opportunity for places (such as towns, villages, suburbs, island communities) that have had fewer opportunities to take part in the arts in the past to build creative programmes which will benefit the local community.
Creative Places Baltinglass offers a wide range of arts and creative experiences, events and activities all underpinned by the principles of socially engaged arts practice and community development.
