Culture Night Wicklow 2026 – Open Call for Funding
Culture Night 2026 will take place on Friday 18th September, all around the country from 4pm until late!
Wicklow County Arts Office are actively planning towards Culture Night Wicklow 2026 and are issuing an open call for funding towards the costs of projects / events / activities taking place in Co. Wicklow.
If you are planning an event for Culture Night, you are responsible for securing your own venue / space. Wicklow County Arts Office does not arrange venues; we provide support through funding, marketing and promotion, including uploading event information onto the official Culture Night website, creation of a printed brochure and posters for distribution around the county, in addition to social media promotion.
Culture Night 2026
Wicklow County Arts Office invites Wicklow based artists, creative practitioners, community groups, event organisers and venues operating in any artform to submit proposals for Culture Night 2026.
The value of funding available per proposal is up to €1,500. Geographical spread, mix of artforms, and audience / participant demographic across Co. Wicklow will be considered when proposals are assessed. Given the budget available, Wicklow County Arts Office anticipates up to 20 proposals will be awarded funding.
*Funding is limited and it may not be possible to offer funding to all applicants. If your proposal is in excess of the funding available from Wicklow County Arts Office, proof of other sources of income must be submitted with the application.
Inclusion in the Culture Night Wicklow 2026 programme is open to applicants regardless of funding offered from Wicklow County Arts Office.
Funding will only be allocated to cultural events and activities programmed from 4pm till late on Friday 18th September 2026.

All applications must be made through Submittable.
Deadline for proposals: 4pm on Monday 18th May 2026
Confirmation
You will receive an acknowledgement email from Submittable once you have made an application.
Applicants will be notified of outcomes by mid-June 2026.
