Proposed Material Alterations (PMAs) were made to the Draft Arklow Local Planning Framework (LPF) / Proposed Variation to the County Development Plan at the County Council meeting on the 13 April 2026.

The PMAs to the Proposed Variation / Draft LPF will be available to view at the following locations, during their normal opening hours, from Friday 01 May 2026 to Friday 29 May 2026 (5.00pm) inclusive:

- Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow Town,

-Arklow Municipal District Office, Castle Park, Arklow, 

- Arklow Library

and the Proposed Material Alterations (and associated documents) are available to view and download here and through an online consultation portal.

Submissions or observations regarding ONLY the Proposed Material Alterations (and associated SEA, AA and SFRA documents) are hereby invited from the public and interested bodies between the dates Friday 01 May 2026 and Friday 29 May 2026. All valid written submissions or observations made before 5pm (17:00) on Friday 29 May 2026 will be taken into consideration before the making of the Variation / Local Planning Framework.
