Arklow Municipal District
Wicklow County Council wish to advise the public that resurfacing works are to take place on the L-5655-0 Kilmacrea Pass and the L-5163 Templelyon on Monday 28th July from 8am.
Localised traffic management arrangements will be in place.
Wicklow County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the works period.
Baltinglass Municipal District
Wicklow County Council wish to advise the public that road surfacing works will commence on L43655 Quarry Road Ballyknockan,
starting on Monday the 28th July 2025 for an estimated duration of 4 days.
These works will require traffic management and as a consequence of limited road widths, vehicular access to individual properties will be restricted during working hours.
Please note NO Local Access on Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th.
Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times.

N81 Hollywood Cross Rural Traffic Calming Road Safety Improvement Scheme – Commencement of Roadworks
Glas Civil Engineering limited have been appointed by Wicklow County Council as works Contractor for the Construction Implementation and handover phases of the ‘N81 Hollywood Cross Rural Traffic Calming Road Safety Improvement Scheme’. The planned construction start date is Monday 21st of July and It is expected that these essential road safety works will be complete in Q1 of 2026.
Works include:
✓ Site clearance and enabling works
✓ Full depth road and footpath construction
✓ Road regulating and resurfacing works
✓ Installation of Bus Stops and associated infrastructure
✓ Construction of new drainage network,
✓ New kerb lines, tie ins and footpaths,
✓ Installation of 3 pedestrian crossings,
✓ Landscaping works,
✓ Installation of new line marking and road markings along the route
✓ Utility diversions
✓ Public Lighting
✓ All other ancillary work
During completion of the works, it will be necessary to make amendments to the existing road layout by the installation of temporary traffic management measures. Glas Civil Engineering limited will endeavour to minimise the disruption caused by these works.

Bray Municipal District
This closure is necessary to facilitate the Bray Air Display 2025
Road to be closed

- Strand Road and Harbour Road for entire length.
- Quinsborough Road and Florence Road east of Adelaide Road.
- Albert Avenue
- Station Road
- Seapoint Road, Sidmonton Avenue, Victoria Avenue, Convent Avenue and Putland Road east of railway.

Alternative Routes
|
Access to the closed roads will be available for pedestrians and emergency services only. No alternative vehicle access to the seafront area of Bray will be available. Traffic management will be under the control of An Garda Siochána.
Mitigation barriers will be in place for the duration of event.
PARKING PROHIBITION
No on-street parking will be permitted on the closed roads from 07.00 on the 2nd August 2025. No parking will be permitted for the entire length of Putland Road and Seapoint Road, which are emergency access routes for the air display.
Vehicle towing will be in place from 07.00 on the 2nd August under the direction of An Garda Siochána.
Visitors to Bray during the Bray Air Display are advised to use public transport. Extra transport services are being provided. Anyone intending to drive should pre-book a car space early online at the official event car parks while spaces are still available.
