Wicklow County Council is scheduled to commence work on the National Transport Authority project along the R-764 Ashford to Roundwood Road this coming Monday 17th October.

The project aims to improve pedestrian facilities along the R-764 by widening the footpath and upgrading the public lighting. It will take approximately 3 months to complete.

Due to restrictions on road widths in the area of the works, we anticipate that a traffic management (stop-go) system will be in place 24 hours per day for the duration of the works.
