Phase 1: M11 Southbound Junction 13 to M11 Junction 16
Exit the M11 southbound at Junction 13, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit for L5050 Killadreenan. Continue to follow L5050 for 1.8km. At the junction, turn right on to R761 southbound. Continue to follow R761 for 9km. At the roundabout, turn tight to stay on R761, then turn right onto R772. Continue to follow R772 for 600 meters, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit to rejoin the M11 southbound at Junction 16.
Phase 2: M11 Southbound Junction 16 to M11 Junction 18
Exit the M11 southbound at Junction 16, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto R772. Continue to follow R772 for 900 meters. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on the R772. Continue to follow R772 for 1.6km. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on R772. Continue to follow R772 for 300 meters. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to rejoin the M11 southbound at Junction 18.
Road closures will be in place Monday to Friday nights, inclusive. Intermediate junctions will be closed as required to facilitate the works.
Local access will be maintained where necessary.

Baltinglass MD
22nd October 2026 (3 days)
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that roadworks will be in place on R412 Main Street Dunlavin, starting on Thursday the 22nd of October 2026 for a period of three days.
These works will require traffic management during working hours.
Wicklow Council apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.

|
Traffic approaching the closure on L8360 will be diverted via the N81, continuing along the N81 before turning onto Winetavern Road and following the signed diversion route to rejoin the L8360 beyond the closure point.
Traffic travelling in the opposite direction will follow the same diversion route in reverse via Winetavern Road and the N81.

22nd to 30th October 2026
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that the public car park on the Quill Road, Kilmacanogue will be closed from 8:00am tomorrow morning Thursday 22nd of October until 30th October to facilitate drainage works in advance of surfacing the car park.
Wicklow County Council apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause and thank the public for their cooperation.
19th to 22nd October 2026
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that road works are scheduled to take place on the Killarney Road on Monday the 19th of October to the 22nd of October 2026.
The works will be carried out from 7.30 p.m. until 23:30 p.m.
Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works; motorists should expect some delays.

13th October and 15th to 23rd October
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that works will take place on the R-755 Kilmacanogue (Kilmacanogue – Roundwood Road) from 9:00 to 17:00 each day. Today, Tuesday 13th October and from Thursday 15th to Friday 23 October, 2026
Traffic management will be in place.

5th October 2026 (7 weeks)
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise that Enniskerry Town Renewal Works are due to commence this Monday 05th October 2026 and will be in place for approximately seven weeks.
A temporary traffic management system will be in place for the expected 7-week work period.
No full road closures or vehicular diversions are expected; however, the works will involve a stop/go being in place for a limited duration during the works.
The works will involve minor pedestrian diversions which will be subject to change over the course of the works, in line with operational requirements.

21st October 206 (6-8 weeks)
Wicklow County Council wishes to advise the public that works will take place on the R772 at Killadreenan, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, to construct a fully signalised pedestrian crossing, together with associated works.
Works will commence on the 21st of October 2026 and are expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks to complete.
Traffic management will be in place from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, for the duration of the works.

20th October 2026 (2 weeks)
Wicklow County Council wish to advise that works will take place on Miltown Lane L5597 on the section of road between the junction of the L5097 and L5597 Miltown Lane to the bridge .
Works will start on Tuesday October 20th with working hours from 08:00 am to 06:00pm Monday to Friday.
Works will be subject to traffic management with a stop-go system in place for approximately 2 weeks.
Works are taking place to upgrade the road drainage system.
