The surfacing works on the Wicklow Gap have been extended until lunchtime Friday 13th May.
The road will remain closed and traffic management will be in place until works are completed.
The closure is necessary to allow road surfacing works to be completed.
Wicklow County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
