One to One tuition Digital Tuition for Adults at Wicklow Town Library

Wicklow County Council Library Service has long known that many people find the ever increasing need to be online an uphill battle. A person may own the necessary device but have difficulty figuring out how to use it to access the many services that are now offered online.  As a solution, Wicklow Town Library is teaming up with Transition Year students from East Glendalough School to show people how to use their own device to access the internet and carry out ordinary everyday online activities.

This is how it works; the students will receive training from 121 Digital to become tutors capable of demonstrating to older people how to carry out various online tasks on their personal laptop, tablet or smartphone.   Then under the supervision of their teacher the tutors will link up with their learner in Wicklow Town Library where the learning will take place. Do get in touch with the library at 0404 67025 if you feel this one to one approach will work for you. The classes will run over 6 weeks, starting on Thursday February 23rd from 2-3.30 pm. Participants will be required to come to every class.
