Wicklow County Council, which includes the 5 Municipal Districts of Bray, Arklow, Greystones, Wicklow and Baltinglass, is currently preparing its 5 year Corporate Plan, 2019 – 2024.
Our proposed new mission statement is: ‘To improve the quality of life for the people of County Wicklow, drive economic and community development, adhering to the principles of sustainable development, social inclusion, human rights and equality for all. We will maximize the use of resources to deliver efficient, effective and value for money services, be open and receptive to change and work in partnership will all our stakeholders’
The Corporate Plan will set out Wicklow County Council’s strategic direction over the next five years identifying key objectives focusing on four key areas
- Housing and community
- Economic development, planning and infrastructure
- Organisational development and financial matters
- Environment, climate adaptation and biodiversity action
